Position Overview

Are you passionate about driving growth, building relationships, and delivering solutions that make a difference? We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and help expand our reach in the electrical safety industry. This is a high-impact role where you will connect with customers, understand their needs, and offer solutions that improve their operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and engage potential customers through referrals, trade shows, and industry events
  • Develop meaningful relationships with prospects and existing clients
  • Walk customer sites, assess needs, and prepare quotes
  • Present and promote the full range of our company’s solutions
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through regular outreach and strategic selling
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer information in our CRM system
  • May supervise other employees engaged in similar sales activities
  • Travel required up to 50% for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED with significant experience in the electrical industry
    OR
    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Data Analysis, or a related field with at least five years of progressive experience in B2B sales
  • Deep understanding of electrical hazards and how to identify and mitigate them
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and 70B standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software tools
  • Proven ability to research market trends and craft effective sales strategies
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of closing deals
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
