Are you organized, reliable, and passionate about getting the job done right? Join our team as a Tool Delivery Driver and play a key role in supporting our field teams and ensuring they have everything they need to succeed on the job! Under the general direction of the Tool and Fleet Coordinator, the Tool Delivery Driver is responsible for efficiently delivering tools, materials, and equipment to job sites. You'll also be the main link between the warehouse and job sites, ensuring smooth communication and timely deliveries.

• Analyze delivery addresses, plan routes, and safely transport tools and equipment to job sites while meeting deadlines.
• Load and unload tools and equipment (some items up to 100 pounds), taking special care with fragile and hazardous products.
• Act as the key communicator between warehouse employees and field electricians to ensure tool availability, returns, and replacements.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, ensure your vehicle is clean and safe, and follow all local and state driving regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse and facility maintenance (e.g., snow and trash removal).

 

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, plus knowledge of local routes.
• Basic tool and equipment knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and perform physically demanding tasks, including walking, bending, and standing.
• Comfort working outdoors in a range of temperatures and with common chemicals (e.g., fuel, oil, cleaning solvents).
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed, including some Saturdays and occasional after-hours calls.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic computer skills.
