Pre-Fabrication Manager

Thompson Solutions Group (TSG) is looking for a Pre-Fabrication Manager to lead our shop operations and support efficient, high-quality project execution. This role works closely with field teams, project managers, and estimators to identify opportunities for pre-fabrication while ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the pre-fabrication shop, including production, scheduling, material ordering, and quality control 
• Plan and coordinate shop workloads to meet project timelines and delivery schedules
• Collaborate with project teams to maximize the use of pre-fabrication for efficient and cost-effective installations
• Visit job sites to verify quality, ensure accuracy of materials, and resolve any field fit challenges
• Supervise, train, and develop shop employees, including those new to the electrical construction field
• Oversee and support the Tool Coordinator and Delivery Driver roles, ensuring tools, materials, and deliveries are organized, timely, and aligned with project needs
• Schedule and coordinate delivery of prefabricated materials to job sites
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

• Journeyman Electrician license with at least 5 years of electrical construction experience at the journeyman level
• Experience leading teams and managing projects in a construction environment
• Strong understanding of OSHA and NFPA safety standards
• Knowledge of pre-fabrication processes (preferred)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Revit, along with Microsoft Office tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
