Service Project Manager

About the Role

Thompson Solutions Group is seeking a Service Project Manager to support our Electrical Service team. In this role, you will estimate, coordinate, and manage electrical service projects ranging from maintenance and repairs to small-to-medium commercial and industrial electrical installations.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in the electrical industry who enjoys managing multiple projects, working closely with customers, and helping to deliver safe, high-quality electrical solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate project estimates using plans, take-offs, and estimating software
• Review and gather pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Build and send detailed project scope proposals to customers and contractors
• Coordinate project staffing and ensure labor and materials are tracked for billing
• Manage project teams and ensure safety and company policies are followed
• Collaborate with internal teams to support projects and bids
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and service contacts
• Support efforts to grow and expand the customer base

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma required; construction management, electrical engineering, or related experience preferred
• Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
• General knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and project types (commercial, industrial, residential)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams, customers, and vendors
• Solid planning and problem-solving skills
• Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints
• Comfortable using computers and estimating software
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
